Job Title - Graphics Designer
Job Description - joinBurak is one of the fastest growing IT firm, our solutions are continually being developed to meet the needs of our increasing client base. We now seek to recruit a talented Graphics Designer.
You will be a key member of this team and responsible for the maintenance and designing of existing and new graphics for websites. You will create design prototypes, including graphic design, site navigation, and layout of content, for a variety of client web sites, ensure that the layout of the content is accessible and logical; recommend improvements if necessary. Create visual concepts that match the content and the image wanted by the clients but that fit within client brand guidelines; ensure that sites are easy to navigate. Design websites using technologies that conform to international standards and make sure that they are universally accessible.

Key Responsibilities
- Generate high level and detailed mock-ups of User Interaction, working with other designers and developers to ensure the design is accurately implemented.
- Design and develop interior page layouts including content formatting, CSS creation, HTML files converted from Photoshop templates and custom graphics.
- Plan and conduct cross-browser usability testing against W3C and feed the information back into the design and development process.
- Managing existing in house websites as well as the development and project management of new websites from beginning to completion.

Requirement
- At least two years commercial experience and an online portfolio demonstrating skills
- We require in depth knowledge of digital imaging and illustration with Adobe Suite CS3/4, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash and Corel with formal training an asset
- Hand coding XHTML/DHTML & CSS
- Web standards and accessibility
- Expert knowledge in designing for User Experience and User Interface
- Experience in working as part of a team and delivering projects in a collaborative, timely manner
- Ability to multi-task and react quickly to shifting priorities plus the ability to meet deadlines
- Collaborative approach and really enjoys working as part of a team
- Proactive, confident and with a positive “can-do” attitude
- An excellent eye for detail
- Motivated and able to work under pressure
- Passionate about design and related technologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels.

Candidates will be selected for their superior knowledge of current web-design trends and techniques, a strong online portfolio displaying user-centred design, and experience with web database solutions definite assets. Flash and actionscript experience a plus.
